I like to think that I’m always open to learning new things or to reevaluate certain thoughts, feelings, beliefs, or habits I may have. Well, here I am in Fallon, NV working at one of our other plants. So far while I’ve been here I’ve learned a few things:
- First, I learned that in the past when I would mention how much I hated the cold weather and the weather out West was in question, the response would always be something like, “ It’s a dry cold”. ( whatever the heck that means) No, It’s COLD darnnit !!
- Second, I learned something about Mexican music. You see, I’ve been working next to a 1,550 watt boom box all week with the bass eq turned all the way up. The guy playing this thing has it set for the local top 40 mexican hot spot on the dial. I think it's SPIC 1040. Anyway, what I’ve learned is that Mexican music basically stinks bigtime and I believe a person could become an “accomplished” Mexican music bass player in less than 15 minutes.
- Third, I learned that most people exaggerate when they say they have a few things to say when in reality all they can come up with is two.
