Fun in San Antonio

Well, we have been here two days.  I understand from Matthew that downtown is burnin', and the appserv at YMS took itself out of the game.  Oh well, I know that Matthew can handle it.  That makes me feel pretty good about taking this new job here in San Antonio with Sea World.  I am hopefully embarking on a new career as the otter wrangler for the mystery theater show.  Actually, today, we were rained out with a massive thunderstorm around 4:00 p.m.  I mean monster storm.  It was an actual flash flood at Sea World.  The girls and I braved the monsoon and headed back to the hotel.  We had a good day, saw Shamu, fed and touched some dolphins (Yes, we touched them.  I read some Walt Whitman and the girls sang a nice Ozark folk song...touching), caught the good shows and braved the sharks.  So...good day!  I have added some pictures that represent my San Antonio trip so far...

Shamu x 2 = ??  I was confused.  There were like 5 Shamus.  I think Sea World is trying to pull one over on the public.

SANAN_2  This is my plate Thursday night after I had a delicious Cajun Chicken sandwich at the Hard Rock cafe.  Notice Matthew, I did not eat all the bread.

Peace out,
Manteca

Heading to San Antonio

Good times are comin'!!  After a really crappy week of work, OK, three days of work, I get to take a nice vacation with the girls.  Kim is going to the TBA (Texas Band-Directors Association) convention in San Antonio, and we get to go. Riley, Parker Ellyn and I are looking forward to some Sea World, DCI Southwest in the Alamo Dome and the San Antonio Zoo.  Oh yeah, and don't forget the Alamo.

I thought you guys might enjoy some pictures from the 4th of July...manteca style.  Also, here a couple of Kyle and some of his mad skillz.

Sunday Afternoon

Got a little busy in the office this afternoon.  I decided to remodel yet once again.  Not a big remodel mind you, just enough to make room for a few more computers and to re-mount my studio equipment.  Still have to clean the floor and make room for a few more amps and such.  Do you think that it is a bit to cluttered?  I am probably creating way too much heat for the atmosphere.  Yeah, Al Gore would be very upset.  I can see him giving me a big lecture, like the one he gave the planet last Saturday on that great big stage with all those HUGE lights and electricity just humming around him.

Check us out next week at HHS.  Matthew and I will be on hand to sign autographs and take pictures!

Using Windows Live Writer with the Old Convoginators

Today I ran into a good friend of the convoginators as she was preparing her classroom for the coming school year.  She mentioned that we were not posting enough to the site and we chatted a minute about Seashell and her trip and the lack of posting.  OK, so I am back in the saddle.  I will try and post as much as possible.  I hope that Matthew gets on the kick also and decides to start posting some of his great stuff on our country, global warming and the idiocy of the masses.

For those of you wanting to use Windows Live Writer for your blogging application (includes picture upload), email me and I will give you the secret to the mojo.

Hello from Pärnu!

Well, I am officially in the Baltic Region of the European Union! I don`t hacve time to write much due to a much needed lunch break and the fact that this keyboard is crazy! Anyway, I love everything so far, especially the fact that things are a little cheaper here in Estonia than they are in Finland. I`m off to spend some Kroons on some Estonia cuisine!

That's a long way to be stuck in coach.
