If you took a look at the bottom left and the 2nd to the bottom left, you might recognize these two wild and crazy guys, the virtual dos locos gringos of the Senate. Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev.,and Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., sit near ringside at the Oscar De La Hoya-Bernard Hopkins championship boxing match in Las Vegas in September 2004. The news clip says that "Reid accepted free ringside tickets from the Nevada Athletic Commission while McCain insisted on paying $1,400 to reimburse for the tickets he shared with Reid.
Personally, i don't care if either one of them got ringside tickets for free, I would probably take them as well. But the fact of the matter is that I am not preaching about getting money out of politics, nor is there a defunct bill that actaully added private money to politicians via Chapter 527's named after me.
