Operator, won't you put me on through...

...Gotta send my love down to Baton Rouge! Well, I had to send myself at least. Major dittos to an FBO that offers complimentary wireless internet access to its patrons. This rarely experienced "down time" finally gave me the opportunity to reinstitute myself into the great act of Convogination. Well... there's really not too much going on, except:

I have a new hero: Logan Darrow Clements. I am really shocked that I haven't heard about this until now, but Mr. Clements is most definately fighting the good fight to return the right of property to all Americans who have been abandoned by the Supreme Court. I'm sure most of us are familiar with the recent Supreme Court ruling in Kelo vs. City of New London which extended the power of emminent domain to allow the government to take private property from one citizen and give it to another if it will result in more tax revenue or serve a greater economic good. Mr. Clements seized the proverbial bull by the horns and filed the necessary paperwork to begin the process of taking Justice David Souter's land in the interest of building a hotel. The "Lost Liberty Hotel" will also feature the "Just Deserts Cafe." Priceless. City officials will vote on the proposal sometime in March to determine whether or not Justice Souter will have to reap what he and his fellow justice's have sown.

If the current ruling is not reversed, I reccomend that the Convoginator's find some hapless individual whose land we can seize and open up our own Convoginator's Bingo Parlor and Express Lube. Just think of the greater economic impact!

On a different note, has anyone else found it fascinating that the school seems to be reverting more and more to an elementary education? In grades 1-3 we were not allowed on the same half of the playground as the girls. Furthermore, have they considered the constitutional implications of segregating classes based on sex? Seperate but Equal was struck down a long time ago... this might be interesting.

Back to waiting on passengers...
