Yeah, I know it's been a while. Such is life. Anywho...
I finally got my new iPod yesterday, and it is wonderful! It's black and says "seashell" on the back, but on to the important things... The videos look great! I bought six videos (Sting, Diana Krall, John Mayer, Nora Jones, Coldplay, U2) just because I wanted to be able to use my video capability. iTunes doesn't really have many videos yet, but they look really good on the iPod, as do my pictures, most of which I got from the Cap'n and have airplanes in them. I went ahead and put all of my music on the thing because it's actually capable of holding all of it. I'm sure I'll eventually take a lot of it off because even though I keep it around for some reason, a lot of it is crap. Oooohhhh, and it has a longer battery life. My only beef is that it doesn't come with a wall charger or a FireWire cable, which leads me too a question that I'm sure at least one of you guys can answer: Can I still use my old wall charger and FireWire with this iPod? Just wondering before I destroy it or something.
In other news... I've become an advertisement for Mac. I inspired one of my music buddies to get an iPod last Christmas, and when her computer died a few weeks ago she ordered a Mac. I convinced one of my roommates to get an iPod nano for her birthday, and now Farsheshe wants an iPod for Christmas. I'm pretty sure I'm going to sell my old iPod to me mam so she can give it to Kenzie for Christmas. They're starting young these days.
Are we going to have another Convoginators Thanksgiving Extravaganza this year? I haven't been to Hope yet this semester and might not be until Thanksgiving, so I'm gonna need something fun to do... or good to eat.
Well, I'm off to read about Rome. Such is the life of a history major.
