If you see this guy on the street, stay out of his way. He is most likely prone to attack you and everything you stand for.
I cannot believe the tools that the Democratic party are placing in roles of power. Howard Dean and Dick Durbin are making statements that are so outlandish and volatile that I cannot see how this willnot adversly affect the party. Dick Durbin has made some accusations on the Senate floor Tuesday that are wrong in so many ways. First, comparing Guantanamo Bay to a Nazi death camp is insulting to not only the U.S. Military, but to the millions of Jews who died in those Nazi death camps. I bet the Jews that were tortured, abused and systematically killed never had it like this...I quote Sen. Durbin reading an email from an FBI agent. The agent complained to higher-ups that one al Qaeda suspect was chained to the floor, kept in an extremely cold air-conditioned cell and forced to hear loud rap music.
I wonder how that translates to loading your own relative onto a table and pushing them into a furnish to cremate the evidence of a brutal murder? Or, hearding them naked and ashamed into a "shower" for de-lousing, only to gas each and every man, woman AND child. I feel very ashamed that a U.S. Senator would make that comparison. What the Jews indured in those camps was hell on earth. He (Sen. Durbin) should never diminish that with this kind of fivilous hogwash. You think he would "...have compassion for another human being."
I believe that the Senators in our nation's capital should spend their time on their business, and let the military run the war. Geez, talk about micro-management. I think the all-knowing Sen. Durbin should take a look at our prison systems in the U.S. I think he would find it more closely related to "Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime -- Pol Pot or others --..."*
I highly recommend he read (and you too, this will really put it into perspective) this, or any other reports on the U.S. prison systems.
I had to get that out. It has been eating me up inside since I first read what that true Democrat (how fitting that their mascot is an ass) said. I Know...another political rant! Not that I think that I am always right, but at least see what I think and have compassion for me.
