Tiger! Baby!

I'm in Springfield, MO visiting my cousin for the weekend. Actually, we're headed up to Kansas City, MO because a friend of mine is getting married, but that's beside the point. I've had the opportunity to provide some freelance technology services to Drury University. By that I mean my services were provided free... there was no lancing, however. I showed them how to run some cable in a half-ass method as to allow a workshop to take place, but not require much in the way of work, or resources. I also put ended two cables just to show that flying hadn't made me soft. Despite having no practice for nearly a year, I still managed to make it in under a minute. No redo's either.

I went with my cousin and his co-workers to see the latest Star Wars movie at midnight on Thursday. It was disturbing to see the numbers of people who thought it was necessary to dress up (not a coat and tie, mind you, but dressing up as a character from the movie.) We did have some fun at their expense, as I kept insisting to someone dressed up as Darth Maul that Captain James T. Kirk and Spock were going to make cameo appearances. You've never heard such nerd whining in your entire life (unless something of Matthew's gets stuck in a floppy drive.) It was a good movie, and just like eRIc I'm going to spoil something for you: Anikin becomes Darth Vader *gasp*

In other news, the G4 iBook is now running Tiger. Oh yeah, it kicks the proverbial ass! Manteca, you may find it necessary to dig up one of your macs... Well, I think I'm gonna call the woman and then go to bed, I'm tired...
