David Gelernter is a professor of computer science at Yale. He is now a regular columnist for the (rag) L.A. Times. His first regular column "Soldiers Do Us Honor" is an excellent read and brings out many of the truths we have been advocating here at the Convoginators. We all have friends and family who serve in the military and our respect and admiration is unfathomable. This article is a must read!
