So being the great Dad, Father, and Pal to the oldest of my quiver, I 'volunteered' to help him move today. Moving has to be right up at the top of the things I enjoy most in life. The only thing that made the day even more enjoyable was doing some of the plumbing repairs around new place. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but I did learn a few things today. First, I learned that the day of the craftsman is over. I had to replace a couple old light fixtures and I was appalled at the crummy way the old ones were "wired". It was the kind of wiring that you expect from a 6th grader's science fair experiment. Second I learned Matt has some wonderfully great friends that helped him into the house in no time at all. Third, I learned I'm a lucky guy to have my family. We all worked together today in perfect harmony. So....all this might not be the witty prose you were expecting, but it's all I could think of as Matt got his www.interstate connection made.
Hope the SuperBand did good today. Go SUPERBAND!!!!
