Now, what we are presented with, by the ever so accepting left (when it suits their needs) is a stupid, science hating, apocalypse believing Pentecostal. What is even more frustrating is this desire to pounce on her about something that most Americans, dare I say,  most intellectual Americans don't even know much about. With a little studying (because I am not abreast on the expansive research of fruit flies). I found that the media and most of the naysayers have been incorrectly calling the Drosophilia (the real species name) the fruit fly when it is actually called the vinegar fly. Also, the study that Palin was talking about, though incorrectly, is called the olive fruit fly. All these semantics aside, Palin never said that science stinks and we should drop the experimental method. In the same comment she thought the money could be used on studies that could benefit children with disabilities.

Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read 'Vote Obama, I need the money.' 
I laughed.  Once in the restaurant my server had on a 'Obama 08' tie, again I laughed as he had given 
away his political preference--just imagine the coincidence.  When the bill came I decided not to tip 
the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood 
there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more 
in need--the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight.  I went outside, gave the 
homeless guy $10 and told him to thank the server inside as I've decided he could use the money more. The 
homeless guy was grateful.  At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized 
the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I 
gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient deserved money more.

I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application.

Isn't it sad that Mike and the other brave men and women are fighting over there for our freedom and the American people
are about to possibly elect a traitorous idiot for president?

Republicans are justifiably foaming at the mouth over the sheer one-sidedness of the press coverage of the two candidates and their running mates. But in the last few days, even Democrats, who have been gloating over the pass -- no, make that shameless support -- they've gotten from the press, are starting to get uncomfortable as they realize that no one wins in the long run when we don't have a free and fair press.

If the current polls are correct, we are about to elect as president of the United States a man who is essentially a cipher, who has left almost no paper trail, seems to have few friends (that at least will talk) and has entire years missing out of his biography.

That last one you can print, cutout and wear for Halloween.  Trust me, it will scare the poop out of anyone!

By the way, seven days until the beginning of the end.  Yes, he, the one, is going to try and redistribute the wealth.  Who would have guessed a plumber would be the one to shed light on his evil plan.  Many of you are now realizing the significance of Mario!!  Maybe that little plumber was an omen?  I wish someone could have interpreted this early cave painting sooner!!  I think they were trying to tell us something.

"What would help minority workers," Obama wrote in 2006, "are tax laws that restore some balance to the distribution of the nation's wealth."

If Obama wins, he can claim a national mandate for his socialist agenda. If he gets a filibuster-proof majority of Democrats in the Senate, he might get major planks in that radical agenda passed in the first 100 days. So it seems we can all agree that we need tax cuts but only people who deserve it. That is everyone except the rich 2-5% of business owners. Well, that is not really the truth either.

As the New York Times reported regarding the makeup of the nation's 27 million small businesses: "According to figures compiled by the Small Business Administration, there are fewer than six million small businesses that actually have employees. The rest are so-called non-employer firms that report income from hobbies or freelance work done by their registered owners, earning as little as $1,000 a year.

By treating a lemonade stand the same as a home builder with 100 employees, Obama can get away with saying that 98% of small businesses in America won't be hit by his proposed increases in income taxes.

He's telling the 59 million employees in the small-business sector there's almost no chance, specifically a 2% chance, that their jobs or incomes will be negatively affected by his proposed tax hikes and policies to "spread the wealth around." In fact, Obama's proposed tax hike on incomes over $250,000 is precisely aimed at the small businesses that are generating the highest revenues and hiring the most workers.

"Two-thirds of small business profits are earned in households making more than $250,000 per year," reports Americans for Tax Reform. "In 2006, $473 billion of the $706 billion of small business profits was earned in households Obama has said he would raise taxes on.

The tax rate on the lion's share of small business income could reach 54.9% under a President Obama. The individual top rate will climb from 35% to 39.6% and the Social Security/Medicare tax rate could climb from 2.9% to 15.3%. Put those together and you get 54.9%. (for emphasis)

Obama's tax increases will only affect you if you have a 401(k), have any savings, buy things from small businesses or are looking for a job," explains Grover Norquist, president of the Americans for Tax Reform. "If you fall into one of these categories, his policies will take money out your pocket. Otherwise, you're fine."

Again, I say, Democrats do not lower taxes.

This is depressing. I don't think the polls got this bad with Kerry or Al Gore. I guess people are tired of the GOP. I just can't see someone liking Obama. I guess free money is something that everyone wants.

I was worried about Al Gore. Not so much because I was just getting into Politics at the time. I was annoyed by Kerry because of his idiotic campaign of his Vietnam War record or lack thereof. But I am actually a bit scared about Obama.

There are more than a third of Americans who do not pay income taxes at all. How is it that he is going to give 95% of Americans a tax cut?

Obama picked a number that most of Americans identify with as being large: 250,000. Yeah, that is a lot of money. He uses this number because it is OK to soak the rich. "They deserve it, they are rich!" It makes us all feel equal when we tax the rich because "they have it easy" or "they have too much anyway." This is troublesome in so many ways. His class envy tactics are working, they are even beginning to start working on conservatives.

This story has some interesting things to say about Obama's tax plan. 

While Obama has publicly embraced a tax rate of 40 percent for couples earning over $350,000, his tax policies would result in a staggering 45 percent effective marginal rate in the $110,000 to $120,000 income range for this family. That is 11 percentage points higher than under current law.

He is making the tax law more complicated.

While both candidates will reduce their tax plans to clever sound bites, voters should consider how those plans would affect incentives to earn income. Unfortunately, Senator Obama's proposed "tax cuts for the middle class" are actually marginal rate hikes in disguise.

Democrats do not lower taxes. Obama is not lowering taxes.

100 Economist do not agree with his plan

We are equally concerned with his proposals to increase tax rates on labor income and investment. His dividend and capital gains tax increases would reduce investment and cut into the savings of millions of Americans. His proposals to increase income and payroll tax rates would discourage the formation and expansion of small businesses and reduce employment and take-home pay, as would his mandates on firms to provide expensive health insurance.

"Lets soak the rich who make $250,000. They deserve it because you are all fighting out there trying to make it. And if we just spread the wealth around then we will all be happy and justified."

But he doesn't say anything about the death tax, or the self employment tax or his marriage tax or the halving of the child tax credit or the capital gains tax. We are just going to take from the rich and give to the poor because that is right and moral.

It is called socialistic elitism and it was talked about in a famous book called 1984:

made up for the most part of bureaucrats, scientists, technicians, trade-union organizers, publicity experts, sociologists, teachers, journalists, and professional politicians.

I have a feeling that the market and the industries that make the biggest punch are clearly showing the fears that are beginning to appear with the anticipated election of Barrack Obama lama dama ding dong.  If you notice  up in the picture Paulson says the economy will rebound in time.  I'm pretty sure someone made the same statement during the Great Depression.  If Obama is elected and he hits us with the taxes that will come to "spread the wealth" aka make sure the poor NEVER have to work, then I am sure this will just be a bump in the road compared to the economic sink hole thats coming.  I don't know about you guys, but if I synch my belt any tighter I'm gonna lose the feelings in my legs.
