Larry Norman

Phynerk, I believe the Crestwood Sniper would take offense at your insinuation that he did not introduce his children (or at least one of them) to the musical stylings of Larry Norman. Most specifically, I remember the song "I Am The Six O'Clock News."

Don't get me wrong, the man was a hippie, and I'm not too fond of hippies. I make certain exceptions for exceptional personalities/songs, but I am in no way 'Fonda Jane.'

"...and your money says, 'In God We Trust', but it's against the law to pray in school..." He certainly got that one right. Rest In Peace, Larry.

Too bad you young guys never knew him

Larry Norman is "home"....see Link here and here.

Don't Forget the Angry White Men

Here's a neat little jewel I stumbled across. The knowledge that my opinion was penned so eloquently by another gives me hope that many other people are in this same mindset.

From now on, just consider me an angry white man.

My secret hacking interface to Al Gore's Web.

Here is a picture of the equipment I designed and built in Hope and installed in Fallon,NV. It's quite simple actually. For a number of years now, I have been working to bring prefection to the crudely conceived idea of a machine that would work to not only supply inverse reactive current, for use in unilateral phase detectors, but would also be capable of automatically synchronising cardinal grammeters. Such a machine is my 'Turboencabulator'. Basically, the only new principle involved is that instead of the power being generated by the relaxive motion of conductors and fluxes, it is produced by the modial interactions of magneto-reluctance and capacitive directance. I don't want to brag, ..... but IT WORKS !!! Al Gore,Beware with this device I can not only totally dominate the internet, but I can make snow appear at any place on the planet to completely eliminate the slightest possibility of the threat of.....GLOBAL WARMING.

Phynerk and the World Wide Interweb

I'm certain we're all aware of the technical prowess that runs through Phynerk's clan. Furthermore, I'm certain we're all thankful for the level of restraint shown by Phynerk in particular for not messing with our internets. Afterall, if he only wanted, all our base are belong to him.

HACK THE PLANET!

Thanks for not turning off the internet, Phynerk.

The feminine charms??

scary_hillary180

I have been staring at this only on accident.  I hope that it doesn't burn into my retina and that I never have to see it again ANYWHERE after November.  (I believe this was right before she ate that ladies face off.)

Tree huggers... continued

Wow...I don't think you would get a fine like this in Hope if you ran a dozen crack houses right next to the Junior High School ! (unless you might throw an old pair of eRIc's dirty underware out of the car - now THAT's LITTER !)

McCain's plan for the elderly

Take a good long look Phynerk.  McCain has a plan for you, your retirement and your health care (Romney's isn't much different, you just have a special pair of underwear).  Unfortunately you probably won't have as nice a street sweeper as this old dear.  After we took the picture we stopped to chat with her a second and she said if we didn't move on she would "cut our eyes out and make a soup."  That old lady could clean a parking lot though.

How real men cruise in Nevada !

Phynerk

Idiots: They drive amongst us.

Northwest Arkansas is lousy with beautiful scenery of rolling hills, lakes, trees, and pretty much anything naturally occurring in nature in this Natural State. Unfortuately, it also has WAY too many people living up here. Attracted to a part of the state without an overbearing percentage of pine trees, these people have all decided that it is a good idea to settle within 20 or so miles of each other. This is not by any means a large state. Were I to make such a rash statement, Alaskans would tease me mercilously. It is, however, by no means a small state. We look down on the pitiful lack of elbow room in many-a-New England state. My point being, that there is no reason for this many people to live within such a small area. Every one of these idiots owns a car too! They own cars, and have nothing better to do than go out driving on a Saturday. I guess I shouldn't be too upset with the arrangement. Most people seemed to be shopping today, which is definately a good sign seeing as everyone is proclaiming that we are on the brink of a recession the likes of which has not been seen for a very long time. I must protest, however, the seemingly uniform lack of common sense that occurs when so many people place their automobiles within such close proximity. Most of our readers are aware that the collective IQ of a specific group of people inevitably declines as the number of people is increased. The collective ability to drive (and use turn signals!) declines at approximately the same rate as IQ with an ever increasing population of motorists.

I wonder how many of these idiots are driving around without insurance and/or the ability to speak english.

Rant over.
