Very Helpful, Thanks.

Well, while surfing a site today I got this lovely message from Internet Explorer when I tried to search a page for a word. I'm really glad someone took the time to write code to let me their was an error in an error. wow

Life can be taxing

You probably all know that when it comes to politics, government, taxes, and such…well, I'm a moron. That began to change when I became a member of this small group of foot soldiers. I have become more aware of those things in government now which prompted this post. Last night on the way home I listened to the local news. I had to make a 'double-take' on what I heard. Seems Texarkana is in the process of asking for more sales tax to go into 'education'. There was a short list of reasons given for the desired one cent increase. On the top of the list was ( and I am not kidding ) an increase in the sales tax is necessary because of the increases in the local property taxes !!!

Here's something our friends in California can be very proud of:

The Slippery Slope...

Many of our readers/contributors may be aware of the recent supreme court decision allowing government entities to use powers of eminent domain to transfer property rights between private citizens and private or public corporations as long as it benefits "the greater good." I can't possibly imagine a more un-American decision that has come from the high court in my years as a politically aware individual. Individual rights are imperative to the American way of life, and the ability of a government body to abuse the power entrusted to it by its citizens is certainly well known. I hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist here, but all this ruling did was make it easier and cheaper for big real estate developers to evict people from property that they want for "public use." Keep in mind that public use can mean building a shopping mall. In the past, they were forced to pay fair market value to any individual who was lucky enough to own property in the area they wanted to develop. If the individual caught wind of what was happening early enough, they ask for a decent price and make a profit on their own homes, it is afterall, supposed to be an investment. Now, thanks to our Supreme Court's legislation from the bench, companies can go through political channels (remember that campaign contribution I gave you, Mr. Mayor?) and avoid paying higher prices for property that people invested their own money in. Hey, that's the American way, I guess. Work hard, become a successful individual, forget that you were once nothing yourself and step on all the little guys.

As you have probably figured out, I can't stand having the government stick its nose into places where it really has no business. Interfering with private property rights between private individuals is certainly one of those areas in my opinion. The slippery slope comes in when you begin considering actual "public use" facilities such as: Airports. The use of eminent domain to acquire land for the growth of a public airport is certainly an understandable situation. Airports are almost always government entities. They are usually owned by their respective governing body (city, county, etc.) and are usually required to be self sustaining. (Consider that next time you are upset at paying $10 a day to park your car.) An increase in capacity for an airport can draw in new business from airlines which could potentially have an impact on the local economy. (More people transiting = more money for local businesses) New business almost always follows airports, thus they can be considered a government entity that will foster growth in the community, instead of just a few developers who will be making a killing at their new shopping mall...

Puttin' My Best Foot Forward

Well, it seems that my dreams of someday owning my very own pair of Converse sneakers made of hemp have been dashed, no thanks to me mum. Yesterday evening my mother and I proceeded to walk into Journey's, she to return a pair of shoes she'd bought for the brother and me to look at brightly-coloured socks. It seems that I was more successful in my attempts than was Mum. I was looking at a pair of striped knee-high socks when I heard Mum raise her voice at the sales guy, who just happens to be the same guy that's there every time I go into the store. Apparently he had told her that the shoes were dirty and could not be returned. She told him that the only place they'd been worn was down her hallway when Tristan decided they slipped on his heals too much. He continued to tell her they were dirty, and she of course took this as an insult as to the cleanliness of her home. Mum is not unlike me in that she prides herself in being a very clean person, so as she continued to get angry, I continued to browse through the store until there was nothing left at which to look, creeping toward the hall as I went. Finally the guy gave Mum her money, and we bolted out of the door faster than a liberal to a protest. It goes without saying that I shall never be able to shop at Journey's in T-town again. I am quite proud of Mum, but now I have to worry about where to get star-covered shoe strings.

I'm Batman...

Definately worth the visit to your local movie theatre is the latest and earliest batman movie in make and chronological order, respectively. Thankfully they did away with all the goofy crap that plagued every movie since Michael Keaton of Mr. Mom fame wore the cape. The cast was fantastic, and aside from Katie Holmes' lackluster performance was certainly the best since Jack Nickelson declared, "This town needs an enema!" I'm rambling, poorly, so go see the movie and find out for yourselves.

Nothing else going on here in the Little Rock, I need to start thinking about grad school.

Takeover from the inside out...

So the Chinese now want to not only buy UNOCAL, but also MAYTAG. I always thought the Japanese would buy us out. You have to wonder about this economic flourish of the Chinese. Could Hong Kong win out and defeat communism? The internal worm works the best...the tape worm that takes down giant. This could be a good thing. Then again, I have no idea...just a guess. Interesting side note here...put in Manteca terms... The buildings in Hong Kong all open to the bay and the mountains. So that the great dragons can come down from the mountains and bath in the bay.

Anywho, I think China is a beautiful country, the people are wonderful, but their politics stink. Maybe the "evil" democracy will creep it's way in and fix things...

Yeah, it's been a while...

But I don't see eRIc beating down the doors to post either, so I can rationalize my behavior by comparing myself to others. Some of you may find this thinking flawed... and you would probably be right. On the other hand, I just really haven't had that much to post about. I'm no longer instructing for OSU; I've turned in my two weeks notice and I start my internship tomorrow. I'm excited, but that may be short-lived... we'll see.

I finally have broadband internet access again since I'm living once again in civilization. I had the opportunity to review all the xangas that for some reason I feel compelled to read despite not really knowing any of the individuals that well. I place the blame squarely on seashell, because she lists them so conveniently on her own xanga. Something I used to have to visit Josh's xanga (or blog) for... until he changed his format again (hey, bring back the notebook paper and paperclips.) I digress, and I guess I shouldn't say anything bad about seashell, lest she start beating me or something...

Well, I realized the other day that this will be the first summer that I will not be working for the Tech Department for as long as I care to think about. (only four years, but thinking back further than that is work... and I'm lazy.) I've got to say, I thought I would miss it... but I really don't. I get all the enjoyment of popping in and saying hi to everyone without all the heartache of moving those damn computers in and out of the stupid rooms and hunting for peripherals because some janitor thought it would be a good idea to hide the keyboards. Ok, two can play at that game, I'm going to drag this table across your newly waxed floor... HA! Take that! Anyway, it's simply safer this way. I no longer run the risk of Manteca getting angry and throwing a co-worker at me. Most of all, I don't miss getting those calls from everyone's favorite user. (eRIc does this voice best) "Jeff... can you come take a look at my computer, I think it's broke... later I need to ask you about some personal hygiene issues..." (Sorry folks... inside joke... eRIc, Josh you can stop laughing now.)

On the downside, I do miss running the Non-Descript White Van into a tree in the Johnson's front yard, dropping thousand dollar printers in front of Beryl Henry, watching a computer fly off a table that eRIc was spinning around, seeing Josh run a radio flyer wagon into a window, and eRIc yelling "I can fix it!" over and over again after he destroyed a computer monitor. I miss throwing laptop computers from the roof of the high school in the name of science and comedy. I'm pretty much neutral about all the scripting stuff that Kyle tried to teach me the second summer I worked there... I'm just really not sure who he thought he was dealing with. I think he just needed a sounding board that wouldn't yell back at him. Oh, but I would pay to see that look on his face again when I got him to eat that two week old donut!

Well... I'm tired, and I've got work tomorrow... so... don't break anything too expensive.

The ramblings of a fool...

This is the face of a true idiot. Minority Whip Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL)

If you see this guy on the street, stay out of his way. He is most likely prone to attack you and everything you stand for.

I cannot believe the tools that the Democratic party are placing in roles of power. Howard Dean and Dick Durbin are making statements that are so outlandish and volatile that I cannot see how this willnot adversly affect the party. Dick Durbin has made some accusations on the Senate floor Tuesday that are wrong in so many ways. First, comparing Guantanamo Bay to a Nazi death camp is insulting to not only the U.S. Military, but to the millions of Jews who died in those Nazi death camps. I bet the Jews that were tortured, abused and systematically killed never had it like this...I quote Sen. Durbin reading an email from an FBI agent.
The agent complained to higher-ups that one al Qaeda suspect was chained to the floor, kept in an extremely cold air-conditioned cell and forced to hear loud rap music.
I wonder how that translates to loading your own relative onto a table and pushing them into a furnish to cremate the evidence of a brutal murder? Or, hearding them naked and ashamed into a "shower" for de-lousing, only to gas each and every man, woman AND child. I feel very ashamed that a U.S. Senator would make that comparison. What the Jews indured in those camps was hell on earth. He (Sen. Durbin) should never diminish that with this kind of fivilous hogwash. You think he would "...have compassion for another human being."

I believe that the Senators in our nation's capital should spend their time on their business, and let the military run the war. Geez, talk about micro-management. I think the all-knowing Sen. Durbin should take a look at our prison systems in the U.S. I think he would find it more closely related to "Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime -- Pol Pot or others --..."*
I highly recommend he read (and you too, this will really put it into perspective) this, or any other reports on the U.S. prison systems.

I had to get that out. It has been eating me up inside since I first read what that true Democrat (how fitting that their mascot is an ass) said. I Know...another political rant! Not that I think that I am always right, but at least see what I think and have compassion for me.

History Will Teach Us Nothing...

...without the proper life skills...

You know, there's nothing like a long day of hard labour to make a gal feel useful. After five hours of picking berries, weeding flower beds, laying irrigation pipe, trimming hedges with one of those chainsaw looking things, and counting 120 pea seeds 80 times, I feel as if I've actually done something. Unlike those other college kids who are stuck waiting tables, saying "would you like fries with that," or taking care of little brats, I have wounds to show for my work. I have scratches on my hands and arms, bruises on my legs, and a sharp pain in the small of my back, not to mention an unsightly farmer's tan. But do I complain? Of course not! I can actually say that I like what I do. Why? Because I'm outside.

This all goes back to the whole air conditioning thing. In every building for the past ten years it has been getting colder and colder, as Americans get fatter and fatter. Last year when I worked in the nematode lab, my thoughts always returned to the cold state of the room, and my performance extracting nematodes from soybean soil was not quite as good as it could have been had I not been so cold. Where am I going with this? Well, one can only guess, but I would like to say that America as a whole could save tons of money if we stopped spending so much on utilites, especially schools. Perhaps this is my purpose in life: to teach efficiency to my students (provided I actually become a teacher).

Trying times these is.

I'm sorry to hear of your dilemma Mr. Raincheck, but this I know. Your Mom and Dad are swell people that I know ONLY have what's best for you in their minds. Your Dad's concern is not based on distrust of you, but in the powerful temptations he knows are out there. They are the same temptations that make so many young-uns wash out in no time when away from home for the first really extended time frame. Now your Mom's story is a little bit different since she's a women. Many times women do not say what men actually hear and vice versa. Let me explain. A women will go to the closet and exclaim, "I don't have anything to wear." What she actually meant was, " I don't have anything new." A man will go to the closet and say the same thing, "I don't have anything to wear." What he actually meant was, "I don't have anything clean." Of course that example is about the extent of help I can offer to help you understand your Mom, or any other woman for that matter. So what I'm saying is be patient with your folks right now they are going through a lot of fears and adjustments over the realization that one of their son's will be going away. It's a bite ( for all of you) !!

The New Math

Last week I purchased a burger at Burger King for $1.58. The counter girl took my $2. I was digging for my change when I pulled 8 cents from my pocket and gave it to her She stood there, holding the nickel and 3 pennies, while looking at the screen on her register. I sensed her discomfort and tried to tell her to just give me two quarters, but she hailed the manager for help. While he tried to explain the transaction to her, she stood there and cried.

Why do I tell you this?

Because of the evolution in teaching math since the 1950s:

Teaching Math In 1950

Master Yoda confused he may be.

Tonight, a call from one of those annoying telemarketers, I received. Irritated I was. Watching my favorite Mary Kate and Ashley movie I was. The one where they go to Paris, it was. No wait, the one where to Rome they go, it was. Tell the difference between their movies I cannot. Anyway, interrupt me this telemarketer person did. Supposed to get these calls I am not. On the "Call Do Not" list I am.

Like this the conversation went:

"Hello, is Mr. Smith there?"

"If Smith Mr. you mean, not here he is."

"I'm sorry, did you say he is there?"

"No, not here he is."

"He is there?"

"No! Not here he is. Speak English you do not?"

"I don't what?"

"Speak English."

"I'm sorry. Are you saying I don't speak English?"

"No, a question that was."

"What was?"

"'Speak English you do not?'!"

"Oh, wait I understand. You're trying to tell me you don't speak English. One of my co-workers speaks Spanish. I'll get her on the phone."

"No, wait!" I said, but too late it was.

The rest of the conversation I spent saying, "Español, no hablo... Inglés hablo... ¿Inglés, Usted habla?... No, una pregunta, eso era."

Annoyed in two languages I was!

Pride vs. Common Sense, Round 1

A councilor in Yellowknife, Canada learned all too quickly that "equality" is not the agenda for many groups advocating "alternative lifestyles." First brought to my attention by the nice people at Tonguetied.us, the CBC reports that the City of Yellowknife is canceling their proclomation of "Heterosexual Day" in the community. Councilor Alan Woytuik introduced the proclomation in response to a request by the city to have a Gay Pride Day.

_________________________________________________

"I am not anti-gay and I'm not advocating denial of anyone's rights or promoting discrimination. In fact, my position is just the opposite. I fully support the fundamental principle of democracy that everyone should be treated equal.

"I feel many people have misinterpreted the intent behind my request. The proclamation was in response to Out North's request for Gay Pride Day, but it was not intended as a protest against the ideals of Out North," said Woytuik.

_________________________________________________

Obviously, having pride in being straight can only be construed as hatred and bigotry by the "tolerant left." Many groups calling for so called "equality" really want no part of it. They want special treatment. As much as I have to disagree with the lifestyle choice these individuals have made, I would be far more tolerant of the situation if I wasn't constantly being bombarded with their political ideology. I could liken the situation to being perpetually assaulted by an internet popup window. Instead of prompting me to assail a primate or various political or celebrity personalities with weapons ranging from virtual boxing gloves to ray guns, it is large and "We're Here! We're Queer! Get Used to It!" is flashing in very obnoxious colors. This popup window is also very difficult to close and is constantly being rewritten to find it's way around the most judicious of popup blockers. Here's a piece of advice to everyone, if someone doesn't ask you what sex you are attracted to, chances are they really don't want to know. I just don't care anymore. So you're gay, so what. Just sit there and shut up. You're not special, none of us are. That's equality.

Losing admirers like GANG BUSTERS!!

Geez... My views on life change and suddenly I am kicked out of the role model club. Let's get a few things straight. YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE LIKE ME! You never did. You want to be YOU! I am a fat, useless guy. I was once a band director. That too was fleeting. I am now the tech guy, thank the almighty Father that I have guys that work for me that are billions times smarter.

I didn't realize that I always blame. That is a comment that has been hounding me all day. Unfortunately I can't even remember what I had for lunch yesterday, so trying to remember if I always blame is a hard one. I do know that I used to try and make everyone happy. No matter what, I tried to make it OK! That only led to BLAHHH!! I am now concerned with the future of this planet and this country. I have two children who have to grow up in it. I decided not too long ago, with one of my best friends and co-worker, that I would be the squeaky wheel. At least we would voice our opinions if for no other reason than to incite thought and debate. I see that I have achieved that. Trust me, THAT is a good thing!

I am sorry I am not the same person that you once admired. I too lost a lot of heroes as I got older. In fact, I lost most. You will find that that magical golden glow that we may have had in your youthful exuberance begins to fade quickly as you learn we were as human as the next person. I do still have some of those same qualities that you liked. I can still eat two double Andy burgers. I can still out scat anyone...well, anyone around here. I can also make it ok, even if I don't agree with you, and you don't agree with me. I CAN make it ok. SOOO...never hesitate to call me (trust me, it's better than the tagboard) and let's chat. What's the worst I could do? Well, I can come to your house and make you "spike" march up and down your front yard for and hour (I still have that license...the state let me keep it). Oh yeah, the call and chat is open to any of you, you know my number!

*Insert creative title here*

Well, it's 12:20 in the A.M. and as suspected I'm at a loss for sleep. I have spent the early morning hour(s) culling through various xanga's and news sites in an attempt to get the latest information about the school arson case. I don't know this character that is suspected of torching over fifty years of books and well over five hundred feet of Category 5 cable that many of the convoginators worked oh, so hard on this past summer. I know it may come as a shock to some of you, but I'm going to have to agree with awolff on this one. Life in prison for torching a high school library is a bit excessive. That being said, some jail time is certainly in order should this individual be convicted by a jury of his peers. That is quite an interesting prospect altogether though. In order to be selected for jury duty, an individual must register to vote. Could someone that cares enough to register to vote really be considered a "peer" of an individual that would burn down a school?

Anyway, don't think I'm going soft here. After an appropriate amount of jail time (all of which should be hard labor), this individual should have a percentage of his paycheck garnished until the insurance company is fully reimbursed. Yes, I understand that it may never be paid off, but 10% of his paycheck for the rest of his life will offset some of the costs, and Acme Insurance won't be as much in the Red for this particular account. It would probably screw his credit up for the rest of his life, and he may never know the joys of home ownership, boat ownership, credit approval, or what his own new car smells like. On the other hand, he will have the satisfaction of knowing that he was working on paying his debt off to society, and the state wouldn't have to spend thousands of dollars a year to feed, clothe, and shelter him while he spent all day watching TV and lifting weights in the Big House.

I will attempt sleep now. The fact that Rob's cat is insisting on rearranging my desk is certainly not going to help matters. Why must cats be so weird?

PS. I suggest we take some of the proceeds from the Convogniator store to go towards
getting Murrey into a drug rehabilitation hospital after he's all healed up.

Never gonna get it...

What in the Sam Hill does "freedom" in this country have to do with people losing their children? HA HA HA!! Please don't "listen" to us anymore. Your fanciful ignorance is making the whole idea of the internet wane each time you log on.

I sympathize with the parents. I'm sure the marshmallow case has legal precedence. Probably because of the Samson v. Mahican Indians Case, 1743, Salem, Mass. The Mahicans raided the village killing the Samson's young daughter Viriginia. So they sued the Mahicans for wrongful death. They won several million also. The Mahicans on the other hand could not sue because the liberals hadn't decided to make them one of their "charities" yet. Also, the sheer fact that they had been driven from their land, hunted as savages and were starving to death was inconsequential.

You sit in you dorm room, bed room, living room, on your computer, with your Xbox, Game Cube, Playstation and you think that you have the answers because CNN and the other kids tell you so. I'm sorry... Think for yourself, take responsibilities for your actions, pay ALL of your bills. Why does it ALWAYS have to be somebody else's fault?? Why can't we just accept action and reaction? My dog was run over by a trailer last night. Yeah, Murray. My dad hit him. Was it my dad's fault, was it mine...was it Murray's? The answer is no, it was a combination of things. Accidents happen. The coffee is hot, had it not been, the lady would have sued because it was cold. Geez...freedom is a swinging door. I have the RIGHT to serve you hot coffee! I shouldn't have to put a label on a gun that states "Do not aim loaded gun at face and pull trigger...will cause death!" OK, now I'm rambling because of the absurdity of this topic. Use your ever loving brains...

Oh yeah, Murray is doing OK, it completely dislocated his back leg, but he is all wrapped up and medicated with the doggy narcotics.

On Liberalism and Responsibility.

My biggest beef with liberals has to do entirely with the mentality that you are not responsible for your own actions. "Crime is society's fault" is my favorite liberal battle cry. Life isn't always fair, otherwise it would be called "Heaven." Just because an individual is dealt a lesser hand in the big poker game of life doesn't mean they are justified in violating the rights of others. All too often liberals tell me what a horrible person I am because I am a white, anglo-saxon protestant male. (WASP) I am told that I have no compassion for other cultures. I am told that my culture is oppressive and I should be ashamed to be who I am. I am told that the morals and values that I hold dear are chauvanist, outdated, and "non-inclusive." It doesn't matter to liberals that other cultures are not sensitive to me, that's just tough sh!t, and they point out once again that I should be ashamed to be what I am and should pay reparations for slavery. Number one, I have never owned any slaves. Number two, no one alive in THIS country today that is demanding reparations has ever been a slave. How can I apologize for something that I never did?

Because I believe that we should hold people accountable for their own actions, I am told that I am not compassionate. Because I believe in family values, I am told that I am intolerant. Because I believe that the money I earn is mine and I don't want the government to squander it, I am told that I am not paying my fair share. How do you think that makes me feel? To be told time and time again that I am what is wrong with society. If someone repeatedly attacks you and your way of life, you really don't have much use for them, now do you?

I hope you understand, Mr./Mrs. Tagboard Poster. I have given my political position a great deal of thought, and I have arrived at this position after much deliberation. Liberalism appears attractive to individuals who don't take the time to think through a problem. It's only natural at this point in life to be in that predicament. There's an old saying that I believe sums it all up:

If you're eighteen and conservative then you are cold-hearted, but if you are thirty-five and liberal, then you are just retarded.

Best of luck to you,
Jeff C.

In Response to Lost Conservative/Found Liberal

It would take me forever to explain why liberals (in general) have the wrong idea. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying all liberals are out of it. I have many liberal friends, but I don't agree with them about certain things.

Are you a college student? If so, I can see how you might be a bit confused. This is the point that most people find their liberalism. For me, it was the point that I became more secure in my conservativism. I am actually somewhat middle-of-the-road, however, after a year at a liberal university (as most of them are), I realize that I could never go to the dark side.

Many people who say they are conservatives are a bit extreme. But watch out! There are bad conservatives, too. Just like, for example, many people say they are Christians, but they really don't act like it, and they give Christians a bad name. Well, perhaps these people aren't Christians at all. You can't just look at the bad that you see. This might be turned around on us as well. "You can't just look at the bad you see in liberals." Well, that's usually all there is. All you need is the University of Central Arkansas Honors College to see that.

Liberals are considered caring. Homosexuals should be allowed to marry because we should care about everyone. That's what they say, but it's not the real reason. Really, they just want this for themselves. Same thing with abortion. They're not thinking of the general public. They want to be able to kill their own babies. I once attended a lecture from a guy speaking for gay marriage. This was after I attended one from a guy against it. He had facts and figures, while the guy who was for it basically just wanted to marry his boyfriend. Talk about selfish!

Now, I don't know what the deal is with welfare, but that might be the thing that bothers me the most about liberals. I won't go into it much, but we all know that those on welfare don't give a fiddler's fart whether they find jobs or not. You say, well what about that poor single mother with five kids? People shouldn't have more children than they can afford. Most poor people are in such a state because they choose to be. (Don't say I'm heartless. I know this isn't always the case.)

As for the kid that died because of the marshmallow, you can't sue somebody for something like that! What if he was eating it for lunch, would you sue then? Well, I suppose selfish liberals would.

Another thing... Liberals worry about the most insignificant things. What about murder, theft, arson, rape... These are big problems that should probably be taken care of before stuff like how many rats we kill in a given year.

There's tons more, but thinking about such things has got my mind racing. It's back to Modern Marvels and Mail Call for me. Thank God and the USA for the History Channel! God bless America!

WMD's Anyone?

From the LA Times no less

Source

A little snippet

The report said 37 of 405 fermenters ranging in size from 2 gallons to 1,250 gallons had been removed. Those could be used to produce pharmaceuticals and vaccines as well as biological warfare agents such as anthrax. The largest percentages of missing items were at the 58 missile facilities, which include some of the key production sites for both solid and liquid propellant missiles, the report said. For example, 289 of the 340 pieces of equipment to produce missiles -- about 85 percent -- had been removed, it said.

Does fact really mean anything to the left now. I think the media made finding WMD's like this: We were going to walk into a big warehouse a find all the weapons nicely stacked with huge bio stickers on them. I find it strange that we didn't catch them moving the stuff.

Grossest Pet Story EVER

Of all people, my mother sent this to me...

Jeff C.

Stop the world...let me off!

Seeing that there are some with "more" time than the rest of us to actually read, I think it would be really good for those with said time to occasionally post a short group of such ( stupid ) headliners for our corporate information. As I agree 101.16% with the PooBah's last rant post, I was enlightened by insight into some of the crazy things going on around us. Sometimes exposing folk to the raw truth will help in revealing just how nuts this 'ole world is becoming without speaking a word about GOP / Dem's. So, what I guess I just said is this: Anytime someone runs across a story or two like the ones the PooBah posted, include them in a post of your own so all may clearly see that the reality of life reveals a great flaw in how things are getting ( or not getting ) done these days.
You shall know the truth and the truth may make you miserable.

Here's the Rant...Sorry Phynerk...

So we were posed with a question concerning the difference between the GOP and the Dems. First of all, that is a loaded question. Only a liberal at heart would refer to the Republican party as the GOP. NOW we all know that it is the "Grand Old Party," but that was typed very snotty...I know snotty typing.

The difference, TODAY (As this changes for me hourly). This is stupid:
$2M Settlement Reached in Marshmallow Death Case
Thursday, June 02, 2005
CHICAGO The family of a sixth-grader who choked to death on marshmallows while playing a classroom game settled their lawsuit with the suburban school district for $2 million Thursday as the trial was in its second week.
"This case was never about money," the family's attorney, Francis Patrick Murphy, said outside court. "This case has been about getting the message across to America that dangerous games should not be played in school, with or without supervision." please read the full story

and this:
Ala. Teen Disappears During Trip to Aruba
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. An Alabama high school student disappeared during her graduation trip to Aruba, and officials said they have few clues after questioning and releasing three men who said they dropped the teen off at her hotel.
Natalee Holloway, 18, was among 125 graduating seniors from Mountain Brook High School, near Birmingham, on a five-day trip to the Caribbean island.

She was last seen getting into a vehicle and leaving a nightclub in the capital, Oranjestad, before dawn on Monday, deputy police chief Gerold Dompig said. She did not show up for her group's return flight later in the day. please read the full story

What do both of these seemingly stupid things have to do with the Dems? Well, both of these things have to do with liberals. If I have to explain why those two things are closely aligned with liberals, then there is no need to read the rest of this rant. My favorite has to be that Marshmallows are now DANGEROUS TOOLS USED IN DANGEROUS GAMES. (I once had a really bad bruise from a marshmallow) AND an 18 year old was in Aruba, at a nightclub, before dawn, on a school trip with no supervision. GEEZ! See, I have problems with that...liberals aka DEMS do not. They find all the right things in the wrong places. They go to church, they pay their taxes, they do the right thing, they just don't do the right thing.

Oh yeah, and immediately after I post this, people (them) will begin to knock it, crack it, hit it, whatever. They will get out their PETA desk lamp, their dolphin friendly keyboard arm support and write me a letter telling me that I am wrong. Well, if I am, then so be it...come say it to my face! Cause I will break a piece off somewhere...I DO HAVE A 50 GALLON BARREL OF IT!

Adult Onset ADDumb

I totally agree with Raincheck. Not only are these people abusing these drugs, they are also abusing the so-called diseases with which they are faced. Half of the diseases we've got now are really just nicer ways of saying these people are stupid and lazy. Did you know you can get a prescription to tan to help deal with seasonal disorders? With lots of health insurance plans, this mean people could do this type of thing for free. This is outrageous! I get tired of winter after a couple of months, as do many people, but I don't claim to have a seasonal disorder.

You may ask: How did all of this come about? Simple. It was the liberals. We can't step on any toes, so if John Doe's ten year old kid can't sit still, it's some kind of disease and the little guy should be put on some medication. We can't turn anyone away. If he says he has a problem then he must! And if this means that other cash resources must be tapped into, then so be it, even if it means we raise taxes! At least there's no grocery tax in Texas. We can go over there and get all the chocolate we want. Tax Free.

What a 'character'

What Video Game Character Are You? I am Mario.I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble. I always brush after every meal and try to floss at least twice a day. Once I helped a kitten out of a tree. Will you be my friend ? Please ? My favorite color is blue . I like walks in the moonlight .....What Video Game Character Are You?

Dear Raincheck

I can speak from 20-plus years of experience of actually "living" in the place you call 'The Big Easy'.
Noo Awlins is actually a living landfill. It always makes me laugh when I hear someone actually say they
LIKED the French Quarter ! I mean how would you respond to someone who came up to you with a smile from
ear-to-ear and exclaimed, "I love visiting the latrine; it's a great place to see history". In fact I worry sometimes
when I hear positive remarks about the French Quarter. In fact, the only people that normally do ( that actually live there) are gay.
Oh, speaking of the flask, engrave the following on it " For non-alcoholic liquids only".

Mr. Raincheck, I'm NOT getting on to you, it's just that many tourist get taken in by the same jive. The place is a DUMP !!!

Have a good day.
